Daniel Kash

Daniel Joshua Kash (born April 25, 1959) is a notable Canadian actor and film director, celebrated for his diverse roles across film and television. His prominent film credits include performances in "Aliens," "The Hunt for the BTK Killer," and "The Path to 9/11." On television, he is recognized for his appearances in acclaimed series such as "Law & Order," "Orphan Black," and "The Expanse."

A native of Montreal, Quebec, Kash hails from a musically rich family; he is the son of renowned Canadian opera singer Maureen Forrester and violinist and conductor Eugene Kash (May 1, 1912 – March 6, 2004). He shares a familial bond with actress Linda Kash, his sister. Daniel's heritage is a blend of cultural influences, with his father's family being Jewish, while his mother converted to Judaism.

Kash honed his acting skills at the Drama Centre in London, UK, where he developed a passion for the craft. His career in film took off with his role as Private Spunkmeyer in the iconic sci-fi horror film "Aliens" (1986), marking the beginning of his lasting influence in the entertainment industry.
