Edwin Martel Basil Hodge, born on January 26, 1985, is a distinguished American actor celebrated for his compelling performances in both film and television. He is notably the older sibling of fellow actor Aldis Hodge. Edwin has gained considerable recognition for his role as Dante Bishop in the acclaimed Purge franchise, where he is unique for being the only actor to feature in all three initial installments: The Purge (2013), The Purge: Anarchy (2014), and The Purge: Election Year (2016), with his character’s backstory revealed in the final film.

In addition to his work in the Purge series, he has showcased his versatility in a range of films, including Die Hard with a Vengeance, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Big Momma's House, and more recently, Bumblebee and The Tomorrow War.
