Plot

Inspired by real events, former parole officer Marilyn Gambrell and her partner launch an innovative trial program in one of the nation's most challenging high schools. Their goal is to assist children of incarcerated parents in reclaiming their futures and avoiding the same fate as their parents. To everyone's astonishment, the initiative proves successful, but the school administration issues a stern ultimatum: the program’s survival hinges on every senior passing their final exams and graduating. As the school year draws to a close, Gertz confronts a pivotal challenge that could either uphold her beliefs or lead to their undoing.
