Shabana Azmi

Shabana Azmi, born on September 18, 1950, is a prominent Indian actress celebrated for her work in film, television, and theatre, alongside her advocacy for women's rights and her role as a parliamentarian. A graduate of the esteemed Film and Television Institute of India in Pune, she made her film debut in 1974 with the critically acclaimed movie *Ankur*.
