Plot
Alistair, a British wildlife conservationist in Karachi, and his Jewish-American wife, Hannah, struggle with infertility. Hannah's longing for a child intensifies, leading her to convince Alistair to visit a fertility shrine for three days. After a ceremony where she converts to Islam and persuades Alistair to follow suit, she discovers she’s pregnant. However, joy quickly turns to despair as Alistair's infidelity with their friend Samira complicates their relationship. As tensions rise, the couple faces harassment from eunuchs linked to the shrine, further straining their already fragile bond.
