Özgü Namal
Melahat Özgü Namal, born on December 28, 1978, is a prominent Turkish actress with a rich heritage; her maternal family hails from Thessaloniki, while her paternal lineage traces back to North Macedonia. Özgü's passion for acting ignited at a young age when she joined the Masal Gerçek Theatre. She later honed her craft by graduating from the theater department at the State Conservatory of Istanbul University.
Namal’s television career took off with her role in "Affet Bizi Hocam," followed by notable performances in "Karete Can," the acclaimed series "Yeditepe İstanbul," and the long-running drama "Kurtlar Vadisi," where she portrayed Elif Eylül. She also starred in adaptations of classic literature, including "Hanımın Çiftliği," based on Orhan Kemal's novel, and "Merhamet," inspired by Hande Altaylı's work.
In 2002, Özgü made her cinematic debut in "Sır Çocukları," paving the way for an impressive filmography that includes titles such as "Anlat İstanbul," "Büyü," "Organize İşler," "Polis," "Beynelmilel," and "O...
