Edward Thomas Hardy CBE, born on September 15, 1977, is a distinguished English actor, producer, writer, and former model. He honed his craft at the Drama Centre London, making a notable film debut in Ridley Scott’s 2001 war drama, Black Hawk Down. Hardy's talent has garnered him significant acclaim, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, two Critics' Choice Movie Award nominations, and two BAFTA nominations, with the honor of receiving the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2011.

His filmography boasts a diverse array of roles, from Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) to powerhouse performances in films like Bronson (2008), Warrior (2011), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011), and The Revenant (2015), the latter earning him another Oscar nod.
