John Hawkes

John Hawkes, born John Marvin Perkins on September 11, 1959, is a distinguished American actor and musician known for his versatile performances across both film and television. He co-founded the Big State Productions Theatre Company, showcasing his talent in their original production, "In the West," presented at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. To avoid confusion with another actor bearing the same name, he adopted the stage name "John Hawkes."

Hawkes garnered critical acclaim for his role in the indie film "Me and You and Everyone We Know" (2005), which won the special jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival and the Camera d'Or at Cannes. His impressive filmography includes notable performances in "A Slipping-Down Life" (1999), "Identity" (2003), "Miami Vice" (2006), and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" (2017), among others.
