Plot
Mark O'Brien, a journalist and poet confined to an iron lung due to polio, embarks on a personal journey triggered by a writing assignment about sexuality and disability. Intrigued by the topic, he contemplates losing his virginity. After an awkward advance towards a caregiver leads to her retreat, Mark turns to sex surrogate Cheryl Cohen-Greene for guidance.
