Ida Galli, born on October 8, 1939, in Sestola, Italy, is a renowned actress who made significant contributions to the Italian film industry from 1959 until 1990. Initially pursuing an academic path with aspirations to become a teacher, Galli's life took a dramatic turn when she met French actor Gérard Landry, who helped her land a small role in her debut film, "Nel blu dipinto di blu."

Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Galli established herself as a versatile character actress, appearing in a wide array of films that encompassed both art-house and genre cinema. She worked with legendary directors such as Federico Fellini in the classic "La dolce vita," Luchino Visconti in "Il Gattopardo," and Antonio Pietrangeli in "Fantasmi a Roma."
