Plot

An upscale English family convenes for the reading of their patriarch’s will, only to be shocked when everything is bequeathed to Barbara, his favored daughter. Tension escalates when the butler is discovered murdered, prompting Sergeant Thorpe to call in Scotland Yard. Inspector Grey arrives just in time to help Barbara evade an assassination attempt. Tragedy strikes again with the deaths of Cousin Ted and his wife Pauline. As the investigation unfolds, Sergeant Thorpe remembers Ted's request for some photos to be developed, hinting at deeper mysteries within the family.
