Enrique Castillo
Enrique Castillo is a prominent figure in the world of theater and film, best known as a founding member of The Latino Theater Company. His creative contributions include co-writing notable plays such as Stone Wedding and August 29. In addition to his work in theater, Castillo directed and produced a documentary titled The History of The Latino Theater Company, which highlights the journey and impact of the organization. He also co-produced the annual comedy fundraiser, Noche de Risa y Susto, further showcasing his commitment to the arts.
In 1997, Castillo established Four Brown Hats Entertainment (FBHE), a production company focused on film and theater. Through FBHE, he adapted and directed The Last Angry Brown Hat, a work that resonates with audiences. He followed this with Veteranos: A Legacy of Valor, a poignant theatrical piece that pays tribute to the contributions of Latino military personnel in the United States.
Beyond his theater work, Castillo has penned several feature film scripts, including Yo Solo, The Cobra, Valley of the Dead, Deerdancer, and The Last Angry Brown Hat.
