Christopher Fairbank
Christopher Fairbank, born on October 4, 1953, in Hertfordshire, England, is a distinguished English actor renowned for his portrayal of Moxey in the acclaimed comedy-drama series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Over the years, Fairbank has built an impressive resume, showcasing his talent across various television series including Sapphire and Steel, The Professionals, and The Scarlet Pimpernel.
In addition to his television work, he lent his voice to beloved animated projects, contributing to the Aardman features Curse of the Were-Rabbit and Flushed Away. Fairbank made a memorable appearance as one of the muggers in Tim Burton's iconic 1989 film Batman, marking the film's thrilling introduction of the titular superhero. His film credits also include notable roles as the scientist Mactilburgh in The Fifth Element, the prisoner Murphy in Alien 3, and as the Player Queen in Franco Zeffirelli's Hamlet alongside Mel Gibson.
More recently, Fairbank voiced Old King Doran in the critically acclaimed video game Demon's Souls and showcased his voice talent in the PS2 game Prisoner of War. He also appeared as a Newcastle United fan in the Goal! trilogy.
