Mel Jackson

Melton Jackson, born on October 13, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, is a multifaceted African-American talent known for his work as an actor, producer, spoken word artist, and R&B musician. He burst onto the scene with his debut in the 1997 film *Soul Food*, and has since lent his skills to a variety of projects including *Deliver Us From Eva*, *The Temptations*, *Uninvited Guest*, *Motives*, and *Flip the Script*.
