His career took off with various commercials for well-known brands like Shout, Taco Bell, and Brinks Security. He gained significant recognition through his roles in acclaimed films such as "A Perfect World," "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," "Hope Floats," and his portrayal of the titular character in "Leave It to Beaver."
