Tomasz Borkowy

Tomasz Borkowy, a prominent Polish actor known professionally as Tomek Bork, has made significant contributions to the performing arts since his graduation from the Theatre College in Kraków in 1977. In 1978, he ventured to the UK with limited English proficiency, showcasing his determination and passion for acting. By 1980, he had fully relocated to the UK, where he appeared in various film and television productions, marking the beginning of a versatile career.

Borkowy is particularly celebrated in Poland for his leading performance in the beloved television series "Dom" (House), which captivated audiences for two decades, spanning seven seasons from 1980 to 2000. In addition to his screen work, he has made a notable impact on the theater scene, particularly at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he has both starred in and produced numerous plays over the past 18 years.

Currently, Borkowy divides his time between Edinburgh, Scotland, and southern Spain. He is the founder of Universal Arts, an international agency and production company dedicated to the performing arts, allowing him to continue acting while fostering new talent and productions. His career reflects a rich blend of cultural influences and artistic achievements, showcasing his longstanding commitment to the craft of acting.
