Nicola Pannelli was born in Como on May 26, 1966. He graduated from the Teatro Stabile di Genova's Acting School in 1991 and pursued three years of lyrical singing training at the Conservatorio Niccolò Paganini in Genoa. Throughout his theatrical career, he has collaborated with notable directors such as Valerio Binasco, Cristina Pezzoli, and Marco Sciaccaluga. His longstanding association with the Teatro Stabile di Genova began under Anna Laura Messeri and continued with prominent figures like Benno Besson, Massimo Mesciulam, Marco Sciaccaluga, Guido De Monticelli, Vittorio Gassman, Ferdinando Bruni, and Elio De Capitani. He has also worked with the Centro Teatrale Bresciano under Massimo Castri, the Teatro Stabile del Veneto with J. Lassalle and Giuseppe Emiliani, and the Teatro Stabile di Bolzano with Fausto Paravidino. Additional collaborations include Giampiero Rappa, Gloriababbi Teatro, and Veronica Cruciani.

In 2012, Pannelli became a member of the Popular Shakespeare Kompany, founded by Valerio Binasco. His film credits include "Il partigiano Jonnhy" (1999) directed by Guido Chiesa and "Keawe" (2004), also directed by Binasco. He appeared on television in "Love and War in the Apennines" (2000), directed by J.K. Harrison. In July 2001, he established the Narramondo Teatro company in Genoa, focusing on contemporary tragedy, memory, and resistance. Since November 2013, he has served as the Artistic Director of the Altrove Teatro della Maddalena in Genoa with Narramondo Teatro.
