Plot
Set in mid-1800s Gallura, the bitter rivalry between the Vasa and Mamia families leads to widespread violence. Bastiano Tansu, a deaf-mute who has faced lifelong discrimination, becomes embroiled in the conflict after his brother Michele's murder. Aligning with Pietro Vasa, one of the faction leaders, he harnesses his extraordinary marksmanship as a feared assassin. While attempts by the State and Church to restore order result in over 70 deaths, a fragile peace emerges in Aggius. Amidst this turmoil, Bastiano seeks solace in a pastor's daughter but must grapple with the stigma of his past and confront his fate.
