Hussein Fahmy

Hussein Fahmy is a distinguished Egyptian actor, known for his Circassian heritage. Born in Cairo to an esteemed aristocratic family, he is the grandson of Muhammad Pasha Fahmy, who served as the head of the Shura Council, and the son of Mahmoud Pasha Fahmy, who held the position of secretary within the same council. His grandmother, Amina El Manasterly, was the proprietor of the renowned Manasterly Palace, further highlighting the family’s prominence.

Fahmy’s artistic journey began with his graduation from the High Cinema Institute in 1963, after which he broadened his expertise by studying directing at the University of California in the United States.
