Alicia Silverstone
Alicia Silverstone, born on October 4, 1976, is a renowned American actress who first captured attention with her film debut in the 1993 thriller, The Crush. Her performance earned her the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance in 1994. Silverstone became a household name at just 17 when she starred in Aerosmith's iconic music video for "Cryin'." This newfound fame led her to a starring role as Cher Horowitz in the beloved teen comedy Clueless (1995), which solidified her status as a teen idol and resulted in a lucrative contract with Columbia Pictures. In 1997, she took on the role of Batgirl in the high-profile superhero film Batman & Robin.
In addition to her film career, Silverstone earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy for her performance in the NBC series Miss Match (2003), although it was short-lived.
