Joshua Mikel
Joshua Mikel, hailing from Conyers, Georgia, is a multifaceted talent in the realms of acting, playwriting, and music video direction. He earned his degrees in Theatre and Creative Writing from Florida State University (FSU), where he collaborated extensively with the renowned film school, taking on roles as both an actor and storyboard artist for numerous student projects. Throughout his college years and after graduation, Joshua toured across the United States as a founding drummer for the indie rock band Look Mexico. After leaving the band in 2010, he returned to Georgia to focus on a career in film and television.
As a playwright, Joshua has achieved significant recognition, with six published works to his name, particularly known for his contributions to theatre aimed at young audiences, including titles like "The Monster Hunters" and "Good Good Trouble on Bad Bad Island." In addition to his work in theatre, he has made a name for himself as a music video director, crafting and animating compelling videos for various artists such as Against Me!, Waxahatchee, Jake Bugg, Neon Trees, American Authors, and Fake Problems. Currently, he resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he is represented by J. Pervis Talent, continuing to build his diverse career in the arts.
