Plot
A newly married FBI agent, celebrated for his promising career, finds himself stationed in a remote Appalachian community in Kentucky. Amidst the backdrop of poverty, he becomes entangled in a dangerous affair with a local woman who sees him as her escape route. As she becomes his key informant, their relationship spirals into a web of deceit and desperation, ultimately leading them towards a tragic fate.
