Mireille Urumuri
Mireille Urumuri is a talented actress whose journey in the performing arts began at the tender age of four in Spain, where she initially aspired to be a flamenco dancer. However, her family's move to Canada at six sparked a new passion for acting, leading her to enroll at the Montreal School of Performing Arts. After honing her craft, she graduated from the prestigious Michael Howard Studios' conservatory in New York City in 2010.
Mireille's career boasts a diverse portfolio that includes television, theater, commercials, and short films. Notably, she contributed to the production of "Chloe and Attie," which garnered attention at several International Film Festivals, including The Vancouver International Film Festival and the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival in Toronto. Other projects such as "Mandroid" were showcased at the World Film Festival in Montreal, while "Mars to Jupiter" earned a spot on the shortlist for the Guggenheim YouTube Play Biennial of Creative Video contest.
During her time in New York, Mireille studied under renowned professionals, including Polina Klimovitskaya and Patsy Rodenburg, which further enriched her artistic development. Outside of acting, she is a passionate nature lover, often found hiking, cooking, reading, and traveling to connect with her family. Grateful for her journey, Mireille embraces her role as a working actor and actively seeks opportunities to give back to her community.
