Plot

Ali and Leila, an Iranian-Canadian couple, envision a vibrant life in Vancouver, where Ali runs a pizza shop with aspirations for growth, while Leila pursues her passion as a budding clothing designer. Their dreams, however, take an unexpected turn as the economic downturn hits Ali's business hard. Meanwhile, Leila lands a position at a prestigious fashion design firm, prompting challenges and opportunities that test their relationship and ambitions. As they navigate these shifting circumstances, both must confront the realities of their dreams against the backdrop of a struggling economy.
