Cliff Edwards
Clifton Avon "Cliff" Edwards (June 14, 1895 – July 17, 1971), popularly known as "Ukulele Ike," was a versatile American artist who made a significant impact as a musician, singer, actor, and voice actor during the 1920s and early 1930s. He gained fame for his lively interpretations of popular music and novelty songs, achieving a major milestone with his chart-topping hit "Singin' in the Rain" in 1929.
Edwards's career evolved as he transitioned into voice work for animated films, where he left an indelible mark. He is perhaps best recognized for voicing Jiminy Cricket in Walt Disney's beloved classic Pinocchio (1940) and reprising the role in Fun and Fancy Free (1947).
