Plot

Dan Taylor, portrayed by Richard Dix, and his lifelong friend Paxton Bryce, played by Preston S. Foster, embark on a quest for wealth in post-war Texas. As they strive to build a cattle empire, ambition drives a wedge between Paxton and Dan, as well as Paxton's wife, Abby. Tensions rise as Paxton's greed blinds him, leading to a series of conflicts. However, a personal tragedy forces him to reevaluate his priorities, ultimately guiding him back to the bonds of friendship and family he had nearly forsaken.
