Nell Campbell

Laura Elizabeth Campbell, born on May 24, 1953, is widely recognized as Nell Campbell, and affectionately known by her stage moniker, Little Nell. Hailing from Australia, she has enjoyed a diverse career as an actress, singer, and former club owner. Campbell gained significant acclaim for her iconic portrayal of Columbia in the 1975 cult classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a role she also played in the original stage production.

In 1978, she showcased her musical talents with the release of her EP, The Musical World of Little Nell (Aquatic Teenage Sex & Squalor), under A&M Records, further cementing her status in the entertainment industry. Campbell’s versatility as a performer is evident in her filmography, which includes her role as Nurse Ansalong in the 1981 film Shock Treatment, a sequel to The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Her remarkable career continued with her performance as Beth in the critically acclaimed 1984 drama The Killing Fields, which received both BAFTA and Oscar awards.
