Plot
Set in Rome during AD 303, the story follows Sebastian, once a favored captain of the palace guard, who finds himself demoted by Emperor Diocletian and exiled to a desolate coastal garrison. There, surrounded by fellow soldiers grappling with their desires, Sebastian faces unwanted attention from the officer Severus, whom he steadfastly rebuffs. As tensions rise due to Sebastian's unwavering Christian beliefs, he endures relentless torture and humiliation, ultimately leading to his tragic demise. The film explores themes of faith, desire, and persecution against a backdrop of historical conflict.
