Plot

In the village of Keskincik, near Turkey's border with Syria, Mahmut grapples with the desire to divorce his new wife but feels trapped by guilt. Meanwhile, his sister Zeynep has just called off her engagement and is determined to escape their small town. She enrolls in an open high school and secures a factory job, defying their father's wishes in pursuit of higher education. As Mahmut and Zeynep confront familial and societal pressures, their struggles highlight a generational clash, revealing the urgent need to break free from the cycle of child marriages and forge a brighter future.
