Plot

In "Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie," Dr. Clayton Forrester devises a scheme to dominate the world by numbing the minds of his subjects with atrocious films. Utilizing the satellite-bound Mike Nelson and his robotic companions, Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo, Forrester forces them to endure the campy 1950s sci-fi flick "This Island Earth." However, as Mike and his friends deliver witty commentary throughout the movie and subsequent features, Forrester's sinister plan begins to unravel, proving that laughter might just be the ultimate weapon against his evil intentions.
