Plot

During her bachelorette retreat, Casey suffers a minor bite from an unidentified insect. Upon returning home, she wrestles with wedding jitters and contemplates canceling her nuptials. However, as she begins to develop unsettling insect-like characteristics, her concerns escalate. Struggling with her metamorphosis and growing instincts, Casey unwittingly starts to build a hive, laying translucent eggs and preying on others. As her transformation reaches its peak, she realizes the profound impact of that single bite, leading her down a dark path of desperation and destruction.
