Plot

Twelve-year-old Mully, grappling with his mother's death, discovers his father embezzling charity funds meant for her memory. Seizing the cash, he impulsively steals a taxi, only to find Joy—a no-nonsense lawyer grappling with unexpected motherhood and her intention to give her baby to a friend. Their chance encounter sparks an adventurous road trip across Ireland, filled with car thefts, hitchhiking, ferry rides, and evading police barriers.
