Plot

Salomé Lerner completes her autobiography and appears on the French television show "Apostrophes," hosted by Bernard Pivot. Inspired by her poignant narrative, Pivot envisions a musical film that captures her story. Salomé, moved by the young pianist Erik Berchot, begins to believe that she might find her long-lost brother, a musician who vanished along with their parents in 1943. As she delves deeper into her past, she uncovers the surprising truth that the Lerners managed to escape the Gestapo and may have settled in Paris, reigniting her hope for a reunion.
