Plot

Adi, a reserved anthropologist recently heartbroken, relocates to Ferentari, Bucharest's most marginalized neighborhood, to study the vibrant yet complex world of manele music. While exploring the music scene, he meets Alberto, a charismatic Roma ex-convict who offers to guide him through this unfamiliar territory. Their bond deepens into a playful romance, as Adi shares dreams of a brighter future while Alberto charms him with heartfelt words. However, their relationship becomes increasingly complicated, revealing the risks and fragility of love amid poverty and a dangerous lifestyle that Adi struggles to navigate.
