In 1904 Dublin, James Joyce meets the captivating Nora Barnacle, a spirited hotel maid from Galway. Drawn to her bold personality, he persuades her to move to Trieste, where he starts a new job. As their relationship deepens, Nora supports Joyce through his struggles with insecurity and alcohol, even welcoming his brother Stan into their home. However, Joyce’s jealousy strains their bond, prompting Nora to return to Galway with their children.
