Plot
A struggling rock singer feels dismissed by her band until a postcard from Japan saying "wish you were here" inspires her to take a leap of faith. With only a handful of cash, including her ex-boyfriend's rent money, she heads to Tokyo. There, she dives into a whirlwind of cultural experiences and serendipitous encounters. Ultimately, she finds herself performing with a local rock band eager to add a foreign twist to their sound, leading to unexpected challenges and personal growth along the way.
