Plot

Amidst the trials of family life, a pride of lions faces unique challenges in the African wilderness. Over three years, the documentary chronicles Mfumu, the pride’s fierce leader, as he fights to protect his territory, while his partner, Chipazuwa, strives to nurture their future cubs. They confront daunting obstacles, including a crocodile-infested river that has claimed every previous litter and a rival male intent on seizing control of the pride. The film captures the raw beauty of nature and the relentless struggle for survival in a world where every day is a battle.
