Plot

In Morocco, societal stigma surrounds unmarried women who find themselves pregnant, often leading to the threat of imprisonment and familial ostracism. At the forefront of a compassionate response is Mahjouba Edbouche, a 62-year-old feminist who leads the Oum El Banine association in Agadir. She offers support to these vulnerable women through shelter, educational opportunities, and legal guidance. Mahjouba works tirelessly to help them rebuild relationships with their families, striving to create a safe and nurturing environment for the young mothers and their children in a challenging cultural landscape.
