Plot

When Angelino Jack Robinson lands a job in Australia, he sets off on an adventurous journey with his delicate wife Ann, fearless sons Shane and Todd, and whiny daughter Elisabeth 'Lizzy' aboard a yacht from Hong Kong to Sydney. However, a faulty gun given to him by Sheldon Blake leads to trouble when Blake's henchmen appear near Borneo to seize them. Although they manage to flee, they lose their yacht on a reef and establish a camp on a deserted island. As the pirates persist in their pursuit for hidden treasure, Shane encounters and is captured by Françoise, a survivor of a French plane crash, who later allies with the family.
