Plot

In the vibrant slums of Kampala, Isaac Nabwana, dubbed “Africa’s Tarantino,” forges an unexpected bond with New York film programmer Alan Hofmanis, united by their passion for Rambo. Together, they create low-budget action films that capture the hearts of millions online, giving rise to the phenomenon known as “Wakaliwood.” While Isaac relentlessly pumps out films, Alan works to showcase their work globally. However, as Isaac's fame begins to soar, the pressures mount, straining their friendship and putting the future of Wakaliwood at risk.
