Plot
Nowak, a Polish contractor, brings a crew of laborers to London to work on a government project, lured by the promise of higher wages. As they grapple with the allure of Western life and the emotional strain of being away from their families, Nowak, the sole English speaker, wields his language skills to maintain control. However, when political upheaval back home escalates into a military coup, Nowak must navigate not only the challenges of the job but also the growing unrest and uncertainty that threaten to unravel everything he has worked for.
