Plot

Jumah is on the brink of his sixteenth birthday, desperate for a new beginning. Haunted by his past as a child soldier in the Congo, he resides in west London with his adoptive mother, grappling with the weight of his violent history. A night out with a newfound friend takes a dark turn when he witnesses an event that pulls him back into his old life. As he confronts the reality of his past, Jumah embarks on a journey of self-discovery, striving to determine the person he truly wants to become.
