Plot
Eighteen-year-old Connie Doyle finds herself in a precarious situation: pregnant and abandoned. A chance encounter on a train with Hugh Winterbourne and his expecting wife, Patricia, takes a dramatic turn when the train crashes. Awakening in a hospital, Connie discovers that everyone believes she is Patricia. Embraced by Hugh's mother, she starts to build a new life and develops feelings for Hugh's brother, Bill. Just as she begins to find happiness, her past resurfaces with the unexpected arrival of her ex-boyfriend, threatening her newfound stability.
