Plot

Eddie Dodd, a disillusioned ex-civil rights attorney, has settled into a practice defending drug offenders. Fresh out of law school, Roger Baron admires Eddie's past achievements and aspires to learn from him. When Roger's idealism pushes Eddie to reconsider his path, he agrees to investigate the case of a young Korean man imprisoned for eight years for a crime he claims he didn’t commit, as insisted by his mother.
