Plot

Harold, a determined shoe salesman, unknowingly crosses paths with his boss's daughter, falsely claiming to be a wealthy leather magnate. As he navigates his double life, he struggles to conceal his modest reality both at work and aboard a ship. His troubles escalate when an attempt to deliver a letter leads to a precarious situation, leaving him suspended from a building's scaffolding, teetering perilously above the street below. Harold’s antics and deception create a comical backdrop as he juggles romance and the challenge of maintaining his fabricated persona.
