Plot
Dean Hess, haunted by his past of bombing a German orphanage, feels disillusioned with his preaching efforts. When he returns to military service as a pilot trainer during the early days of the Korean War, he encounters a group of Korean orphans scavenging for food. Inspired by a dedicated Korean teacher, Hess takes action to create an orphanage, providing a safe haven for these children and others in need. His journey evolves from self-doubt to redemption, as he learns the true impact of compassion and community amidst the turmoil of war.
