Plot

New York lawyer Gordon Hocheiser falls head over heels for the enchanting Louise Callan, but a dark thought crosses his mind: to rid himself of his elderly, confused mother. Despite a vow made to his deceased father to always care for her, Gordon worries that his mother’s odd behavior will drive Louise away. Determined to keep the woman he loves, he concocts a plan to resolve his dilemma, setting off a series of comedic and heartfelt events that test his morals and family loyalty.
