Plot
East German pentathlete Eric Brogar seizes his chance at freedom after clinching a gold medal, aided by an alluring American athlete. However, his ruthless coach, Heinrich Mueller, seeks vengeance, leading to tragic consequences for Eric's friend and father, who fall victim to the Secret Police. Settling in Los Angeles, Eric immerses himself in training for another shot at gold. As Mueller tracks him down in America, Eric finds himself in a harrowing battle, facing not just competition, but a fight for survival against an unrelenting foe.
