Plot
A mysterious figure in priestly attire, believed to be the awaited Father O'Shea, arrives at a remote Catholic mission in China during 1947. Although he appears uneasy with his clerical responsibilities, his unorthodox methods yield remarkable results in the struggling Seven Villages amidst the chaos of civil war. Yet, beneath the surface, he harbors a hidden past. His growing bond with Anne, a captivating war widow serving as the mission's nurse, begins to blur the lines of his vows, leading to a complex interplay of faith and desire.
