Plot
A philosophical canine reflects on his unusual journey from an unemployed communist filmmaker to a thoughtful dog. Berlin-based director Julian struggles to fund his new project and fabricates a story about conducting research in the countryside when approached by foreign exchange student Camille. As she offers to assist him, Julian must maintain the facade. However, the rural setting proves less than the ideal working environment he envisioned. Fortuitously, an encounter with a reincarnated Francis of Assisi grants him profound insights and a renewed purpose, redefining his artistic aspirations.
